| Awww hello Minty, sorry to read of your news as I have not been on in a while,what a terrible shame, I know just how you feel having had 2 of these ops so far on boy wonder. Has she got a mirror to admire how beautiful she is?! I am glad she is enjoying her fruit, its nice to try them on different things to keep them interested. I bet you were surprised at how tidy her leg was after the staples, its horrible though isnt it when the hair grows back all curly for a little while. I brought in my boy for a night yesterday as he was looking so miserable, although all his legs had filled by the next day from standing so I turned him back out today, he had a good roll although he struggled to get up again with 3 wonky legs! I hope with all her pampering that your time flies by and the result surprises you in a good way, it is a joy to see them more comfortable at the very least. Chin up girl I'm sending my healing vibes Minty's way :) xxx |

Sorry to hear about Minty. Miracles do happen. Dont give up. I was told to have my gelding PTS when he was 5 cos he had high and low ringbone. He was sound enough for light hacking by the time he was 9, ridden regularly till about 15 and then a field and stable ornament till he was 28. They are hardy things and time is a great healer.
