It was my first comp after coming off Sert badly so was a bit nervous, Took Murphy and Sert today :)
First up was Sert took him in the clear round and apat from spooking at the banner next to number 4 we went clear :)
Then took him in the 2ft and we had a fence down but he was good, bad luck more than anything, just rolled it.
As he was jumping good I thought i'd take him into the 2ft3 and then I saw the jumps lol. number 5b had a small white gate and 8 had a multi coloured small gate, sert not done these before. Jumped 1 to 4 fine came into the double and he stopped as he was looking at 5b, brought him round again and he jumped both :) and then the next two and he flew the coloured gate so really chuffed with my baby :D
Murphy next, doing the 2ft6, 2ft9 and 3ft.
In the 2ft6 he did a fab clear then we had to go straight into the jump off, but I had a blonde moment and jumped the wrong course :confused:
In the 2ft9 my head was screwed on and he did a lovely double clear (the only ones in that class :) ) and we wan :D
Then the 3ft, popped round fab and clear, had two down in the jump off (we were knackered) but in the end it didn't count because he was the only clear in the seniors so we wan again :D
So really good day :) and now i got the stables it made a huge difference :)

Ahhh ! 2006 (i think ?) we were there watching Tivyside.
I must be getting old i cannot remember how many years ago it was  stepdaughter has her pony there and for more years than i care to mention iv trundeled my own daughter and horses back and forth.

that year we had a double clear this year we had one down
team not placed though, we did get to harpury for the winter dressage champs this year which was fab and the rosettes were up to 10th and we came 10th, it was a brilliant experience and we stayed over,
we do all the rc teams and im hoping sert will come next year |
