Hi
no as far as i know its available. They always hit a patch in the year when they run out and wait for new crop but not a long wait. There is graze on which is the same but shorter cut. |

I bought some Readigrass yesterday so it's definitely still available. My feed merchants said they did run out of stock mid way through last winter but no problems getting hold of it at the moment. |

There was a thread on another forum about this - readigras has been taken over by another company. In fact it's the company who made it all along, but they licensed it to Spillers. I can't remember the company's name, though - I'll try to find it - I think it's an Irish company.
My boy is on readigras - it's great stuff - if I can't find it on the forum I'll ask the stud manager where she gets it from. |

Have you tried Dodson & Horrell's 'Just Grass' - same thing as Readigrass, but cheaper ! This year's cut is available now. Most suppliers run out towards the end of the winter, they never seem to produce enough for the demand ! I prefer it as it is what it says on the pack - Just Grass ! And it smells so lovely - just like digestive biscuits ! Terri |

I work for Spillers - we stopped producing this in Spring 2008 although there would be some in circulation for a while after this depending on individual retailers stock levels. However the company that produced it for Spillers is continuing to market it under the same name of Readigrass, the manufacturer is a company called Friendship Estates. I would think most feed retailers that had a demand for Spillers Readigrass will probably continue to stock the Friendship Estates Readigrass.
Hope that helps. |

I normally feed Simple Systems Ruff stuff, or greengold but their prices are just too high for me this winter. I was going to try Fearnly's Graze-on(Megazorb people), does anyone else use it? Thanks Leighx |

YIKES!!!!!!!!! I've just looked at Simple System's price list and they are charging £13.50 for a bale of Greengold!! I buy it here in Scotland where it is made and it is only £8.50......I know carriage is expensive, but even so that seems very excessive! |

I bought a bag of Readigrass this afternoon, I add it to my horses' feed to slow them down a bit! Sue. |
