Hi Vera, like so many others I read the original post but did not reply as not having the mag. and not knowing anything about yours and Dennis' struggle I had no comment to place.
Thank you for posting the article and pictures. Dennis is a truely beautiful boy and your dedication is a testament to us all. Well done. Onward and upward, I hope.

I did read the article and it is most inspiring. I just love the dedication and 'never give up hope' philosophy you've followed Vera. I must say I love the photos on screen; they have something the printed page doesn't quite show! Perhaps because they're bigger. Fantastic story; you must keep us all well updated! |

Like others I do not subcribe to the arabian mag, but have on occassion read some of your other threads concerning dennis and have to say your love, dedication and hopes for him always shine through.
Dennis is certainly a very lucky boy and I hope all your hard work, perserverance and love return to you the healthy boy you once had. |

Thank you for all your kind words, I find it easy to write about things I care about. If this made you weepy you should read what I wrote about Perissa. I can't read the article without shedding tears!
Dennis is fine thank you, all those that asked!!
He is a happy, hairy, hippo at the moment and still sound. I haven't made any plans as plans are baaaaaaaaaad!!! But if all goes well after his next set of xrays he will probably have another stay at the rehabilitation yard. After that who know's..... |

Absolutely Bloody Wonderful! Vera and Dennis, what a team ou both are. Truly awe inspiring and lesson in never ever give up on your horse no matter black things look,
An incredible tale and rollercoaster ride with you both, wonderful to see Dennis looking so well and back in the ring doing what he does best, strutting his stuff. Hope one day to meet you both and give Dennis a few sneaky polo mints when mums back is turned!
Must admit the screen did go a little blurry towards the end but I think Ihad something in my eye! |
