Springwood Golden Rhapsody stable name of Patsy was bred by my parents Mr and Mrs H G P Stevens of Odiham, Hampshire, England. Springwood was there prefix all the Palomino's were Springwood Golden -------, with all foals bred by them having a musical theme to there names.

Springwood Golden Rhapsody aka Patsy was very definitely not born before 1967, I am 98% certain it was 1968. The reason I am so sure is we didn't have a stableyard of our own before 1967. She was the first foal to be bred by my parents.

Patsy's mother was Belvoir Gentian stable name Jenny. Belvoir Gentian was bred by Anne Duchess of Rutland at Belvoir Castle, she was a lovely mare [I might have a photo of her if your friend is interested]. Jenny was a Welsh Section C, I think she was registered but I can not be sure of that.

Patsy's father was I think Kingsettle Jacobus, about 98% sure. I can not remember any thing about him at the moment.

Rhapsody was sold to a Mrs Lindberg in Sweden, mother says as a yearling but I am sure she was either two or three years old. She was sold unbroken and I believe went on to do quite well in Sweden as a riding pony.

I will see if mother can remember details, she did have a photo of Patsy as a 4/5 year old, if she still has it, I can see if I can get a copy of that too for your friend.

Any question just ask and I will try and answer them.
