I'm trying to locate Meranti Fa Asar if he is still with us.
I've recently purchased The Arabian Horse in GB from eBay & found this stallion's details in it.
At the time of print he was owned by Mr Nicholas J Martine of White Cliffs Arabians.
I've tried emailing & it bounces back. Before I either call or write to the owner can any of you ALiners give me any more info?

hey nat we seem to like alot of the same horses:-))lush aint he!!!do you like the chestnut too?
There is a lady in scotland who has had alot of their horses, not sure if he's one of them though. will see if i can find the details. |

I think this stallion may be standing in France.
I know that Cath Roger at Tariifa Arabians had a few foals by him a couple of years back, and she still stands Meranti Shahnan.
Not 100% sure but I think that Drielinden Arabians in Belgium bred a filly by Meranti Fa Asar last year or the year before, would need to double check though

| Hi, just did a quick search on french website for you & it seems he had several foals back in 2002, some with Tariifa Arabians as previously mentioned. I'll ask if anyone knows where he is on a French Arab forum & let you know if I get any replies. |

| Hi, there's been a few replies on the french arab forum & it seems that he was sold possibly to Germany but no one knows for sure where he went & as with you NatH e-mails etc have bounced back, althougth several people would love to know his whereabouts. Someone suggested contacting Mr Nicolas Martines, as they thought he was his breeder. If I hear anymore I'll let you know. |

He is in France, he was for sale this summer but maybe he has changed of ownership.
Anyway friends of mine have visited him in July in the south west of France. |
