(Merzeda x Carrik Shoshana) Owned this mare for 20 years and am curious to know how much crabbet blood she had. I bred her to Astar (100% crabbet) and would like to know what percentage my gelding is. I know he qualifies for Crabbet classes so is at least 75%. Also is her half sister Shanata by Karthage still around? Many thanks.
Hi Moira, thank you so much for the information. Misshana was a real crabbet type, stocky chestnut white blaze and legs. Fabulous Mikeno movement. Nothing could out- trot her. Wasn't sure what was Crabbet/Old English percentages. Never realised my gelding was such high percentage. Many thanks. Gloria
