after 10 years away on permenant loan, I have been contacted, the people who had her, have now split up and are selling their house, so Mouses' baby, Midgit ( named by my grand daughter) will return here today . I am off to pick her up this afternoon. This is the only picture I can find of her, she was born in the tractor shed one wet and windy night, and was one of the most difficult births I ever encountered. I wonder what she is like now, I know she was well looked after and was very loved, but its been at least 8 years since I have seen her, I wonder if mouse will remember her, I will take pictures once she is home safe and sound .

Of course they recognise each other---why wouldn't they
That is so lovely---I wish everyone who parted with horses would be there for them at any time in the future. |

Lol its not easy with my eye sight. thats why I gave her away but on permanant loan Heather, just in case anything went wrong, I stipulated she must come home to me, and blow me down things went wrong. I guess no ones marrage is 100% safe I never thought this one would end though ! sad but at least Midgit is safe and cant get into the wrong hands |

How lovely to have her home again, and I'm sure they do remember she's very lucky to have you - and vice versa must be nice for Mouse to have someone her own size to talk to! |

I keep looking at these photos they are just so wonderful. Mouse looks as though she can't quite believe her eyes in the third one. The second one is my favourite, they look so adorable ~ if ONLY they could talk what a wonderful conversation they must be having.
Very sad about the marriage breakdown though, they must have been heartbroken to lose Midgit too .

Midget looks a real poppet! they look so happy together. I know how this feels, i lost the very first foal i bred last year aged 24yrs, tasha was a wonderful ridden horse and broodmare leaving 9 talented offspring! she was mainly a colt breeder and only had two daughters one of which has just competed at the hoys in guernsey and was placed extreemly well, her only other daughter is coming back home to me tommorrow to carry on the legacy tasha gave me, i am to emotional for words!!! |

Hey look after all these years they are back to sharing a stable again, I would never normally do this , but they always shared before and it was just so natural to go back in together, they are inseperable again I am so greatful as it means one less box to muck out |
