....a few more pics of your British National Champion Foal, Poseidon:
Just received these from Marilyn - so I thought that you and anyone who missed the show/class might like to see them. Doesn't he look cute with his sash? And so pleased with himself, bless him.
This is still my favourite photo of him, though (apologies to those who have seen it before):

Thanks Kate for posting these for people to enjoy. Also Marilyn I will get round to seeing you and getting some pics ordered, I have quite a list. Need to sort out the others out first though.
He is such a good boy and not bothered at all about the fact that grass time is restricted at the moment, largely due to the fact that he isn't that keen on going through lakes to get into the field!!!
Think he's going to make quite a performance horse because he shows great promise when jumping the above mentioned lakes!!!
I'm going to keep him entire for the moment with the hope he will grow up to emulate his daddy. Lets see what next year brings.
Ivan reminds me a lot of how my gelding, JJ (Johara El Kheil), was at the same age. He just takes everything in his stride. Lets hope he has the same success.
There may be some but not many people, that have a Hoys Champion and a British National Champion in two different horses, they own, on the same yard.
The good thing is, that no matter how bad things may get I will always be able to take pride in that.
I just want to say a BIG thankyou to all those people over the years who have helped me realise my dreams.
At the end of the day winning is nice, but having a lot of fun, no matter what the result, is always better. |
