That's a real shame guys! But better being cancelled than running the risk of the horses picking up an injury on the soft wet ground I suppose?!
Might be tempted to toddle down to your next racing fixture to see what I'm missing

So right jillandlomond, our horses safety is paramount.

Next meeting Stratford 20th September (hopefully) so you'd have to toddle a long way you'd be very welcome though.

I really feel for you racing people...this awful weather, it must be heartbreaking. And no fun for the neds, slogging round up to their fetlocks (not literally, of course....) unless they are real mudlarks.

Oh, yes, and all you enduro types as well!

Fingers crossed for indian summer, even if it's a bit late for racing it may make us feel a teensy bit better and everything crossed for next year.
