Was working in Peterborough and managed to finish a bit early... a quick phone call and within a very short time I was sat at the kitchen table with Anne Brown at Gadebrook Stud - drinking tea, eating chocolate cake and watching the foalies play outside the window. Trivial post really, but it really topped up my batteries before heading back to the motorways. She has some absolutely fabulous horses there, as always.
I had a visit with most of the horses there, wandered up to see the mares and youngsters, had some nice scratches with a mare called Nishtar, who was with me on loan some years back. It was a really pleasant and relaxing hour.
The best possible medication at the end of a stressful day........... Couldn`t live without them!!...have to have a repeat dose every Spring Watching foals at play....MAGIC
