*posted for someone off another site thinking AL'ers can help* Have lost this lovely horse within the last couple of years to a tragic accident and not advancing years, aged 31. Would now be 33, foaled 06/08/75. She was registered with the AHS, 14.3hh, brown with 1 white sock and a white snip between her nostrils. First registered owner on cert was Fairquest Stud, which I can find no internet trace of. She had had 2 foals I understand before we bought her, one of which was still with her previous owner, a chestnut colt as I recall named Royal Warrior. We bought her when she was 12/13 from a lady called Denise Watson (?) near Droitwich. With her certificate, we received some traced lineage - her dam was Beauty, her sire Royal Ruler (obviously the arab lineage) and her Sire's sire Royal Pantera.
Other than the stupid trailer accident that led to her breaking a leg and us having no choice than to put her out of her misery, my regret now she is gone is never having put her in foal again, as she was always fit, strong and healthy to the last and a willing, rawly talented girl, having gone on to showjump successfully to affiliated level with me when I was a teenager, having prior to age 12/13 only having been used as a general riding horse and occasional brood mare to our knowledge. Would give anything now to have a horse with just a fraction of her guts and heart, so would love to trace any of her foals or their offspring.
RIP Lizzie
