I have spoken with Market Rasen and they remind me that they have 6 hostel rooms.
We need to liase with Sulekha about how to accommodate everyone who is staying
Could mean a bit of sharing

I think that Walter and I are coming over to support the racing, but as we only live 45 miles from Market Rasen, we won't be staying overnight! We would love to meet more of you...where can we meet up, having never been to the race track before, if you don't mind us 'tagging' along????

Morning everyone,
I've just spoken to the stable manager at Market Rasen and it will be ok for anyone who wants to arrive Friday night but can you let me know what time you think you will get there when you declare please?
There is a twin room still available in the hostel (on a first come first served basis so if you want it get on the phone to me soon). Other than that there will be plenty of floor space for camp beds, sleeping bags etc.
I second Linda, David, is there space in your lorry for the music machines?
Edit: 11.10am The final room has now been booked. If anyone else wants to sleep over then you'll have to bring a camp bed along unfortunately!! |

How's about we all bung the horses out in the field, tell the Racecourses to take their own pictures and gatecrash the sunbathing in the sun....blimey I could do with some of that now

I am coming to the Market Rasen fest, got my ticket sorted and a rather glamorous lady has offered to chauffuer me for the day.....
Market Rasen is special track as it is the only place Mad Mary ever got her head in front!!!

We have made our plans and sorted out personnel and will be travelling up on friday afternoon so that we and the horses get a good night sleep.
Weather forecast is good apparaently so saturday evening should be nice for everyone staying over.
Then its an early return home on sunday

So what are we going to do then, David....BBQ...Take Away...Pub Grub?....what do we need to bring to make our party swing (blimey that's an old word). All suggestions must be posted before I shop on Thursday for food/drink and also do I have to look out all my 60's cd's?
