CR Serbask GG Jabask (?%) MC Natalie Jabask (?%) MC Natalie (60.0%)

GG Jabask. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/gg+jabask
It was Serafix(1949) a Chestnut horse added Crabbet Blood. AHR #8955; GSB Volume 32, Page 987; AHS Volume 7, Page 83 Bred by The Rt. Hon. Lady Wentworth, Crabbet Park, Pound Hill, Crawley, Sussex, England. Imported to the United States of America on 29.3.1954 by John M. Rogers, Walnut Creek, California. Sire of two hundred fifty-nine registered purebred Arabian foals. Here is a link to a great article on *Serafix: http://www.crabbet.com/acrabbet/article.html
GULASTRA 100% RAHAS 81.25% RAJIH 50% RASEYN Crabbet RAYYA Crabbet ROSEMARY Crabbet ROSE DIAMUND Crabbet. ASTRALED Crabbet TABAL 25% ABU ZELYD 100% SERAFIX 100% SERAFILA 81.05% IBN CHIMENA 50% RULITHA 62.10% BRU BET SERADRO 60.2% EW Leandro 40.18%
Thats about as far as I've got. I've got a bit of a collection of old Horse World (USA Mags) that feature these horses, Serafix, Bask & Jabask ( inc.GG Jabask) & some of the others. Sue

I've got Bru-bet Seradro down as 60%, but got it off allbreedspedigree so not sure if its accurate. It could be that Serafix is the only crabett blood in GG Jabask, which would make him 25%. So he has to be at least 25%.
It wasn't me who was trying to get one registered, can't remember who though. |

Speaking to someone yesterday who was amazed if there was any crabbet in Bru Bret Seradro??? But funnily enough today Sue I met a friend for coffee and told her about my mare and her mum Rosegay and the foal by Phariz. Just off the cuff she remarked as to whether my mare may be related to her Anglo mare who was by Bru Bred Seradro! When I told her the connection she was thrilled. She knew the stallion when he was in Pwilleli (spelling??) |

Hi SueJ, I bet you got all the gossip as well, Do you have the name of the Anglo, wondering if its listed to the horse. No, No Anglo listed to the horse.
Joan told me you'd had the foal..what name has he got ???? and we'll all be wanting pictures next...especially as he's related to the Jabask horses and Miss Bowditch's breeding with that little bit of crabbet as well. He should be Marathon material when he's bigger.
We (Cliff & i) were in/near your neck of the woods the other day, and passed by Dyfnant. Where you going next, how many more can you do...will you catch Jan. Sue

Sue, The Anglo is called K Serah (spelling??) She is about 15 or 16 now and hasn't really done much so you won't have seen her out. She's out of a TB mare that my friend still has, will find out her name. Yes decided to have the foal, Joan left me to decide on the name so he will be called Aberllwyds Ibn Phariz. He's very much like his dad and going to be big I think. When I get him home I'll get some pictures and try to post them on here. Shame you didn't let me know you could have called in the other day. Give me a shout if you're ever over this way. Barbary Castle next on the agenda (hopefully) then Delamere, then Rose can only do one more ride and she will have completed a full novice season. I'm really pleased with her, couldn't have asked for more really considering it was very late last year when I got her and she hadn't done much. She has the most wonderful temprament and is so kind. |
