The two lads who have been arrested for this have been sent for trial at Preston Crown Court to appear there on November 12th.
They have been charged with the following
Attempting to endanger life by arson, arson , damage to property worth £60,000 and the death of 4 poinies by arson and the younger one has also been charged with burglary at the owners house and stealing horse medicines and drugs intended for use by horses.
They have pleaded NOT GUILTY to all the charges.
I know its a long shot and b ig ask BUT if any of you are free on that date please could you consider oming along and giving Mary and the other owners who lost their ponies in the fire some very much needed moral support as they have to sit there ans listen to the harrowing details of what happened that night

If anyone does want to come along, wear black trousers, and any colour top, but please wear a PURPLE ribbon on your top...I'll be wearing either my Tshirt or sweater with the Maggie's Law logo on (which is purple, so that is where the purple comes from) so keep your eyes peeled for me.

What i would like to do to these brain dead morons!!!! After our fire, which was not intentional, and the state Crunchie was in and still is in seven months later, these individuals should get the book thrown at them. But they won't, some do gooder will say what a bad life they've had and how they should be given a second chance. They're just scum and should be locked up!
We will try our best to get to Preston. |
