Hi, been reading for a while and thought I should say hello 
I have always loved Arabs and I have a very lovely, soft as putty Anglo, Herbie, 7 years (Chestnut, 4 white socks)
I did have a beautiful PBA, the very stunning Vlacq Copper Phantom. Had him from a yearling, he was my daughter's pony, she did most of the work on him. He was rising 5 when Very sadly he died suddenly in January, from severe bacterial infection. It happened with 3 days of being off colour 
very much missed.
Luckily, the wonderful Vlacq stud were due his full sister, and Harmony will be coming to us when weaned. My daughter is very happy and is looking forward to starting again. It is lovely to be able to have a part of Phantom, and we spent a few hours with Sue and Laura recently with all their wonderful horses. Slightly tinged with sadness as Phantom was much like his mum.
Harmony
I also have a New Forest, 15 year old mare; Magic. One of the best ponies who is with me for life :)

Welcome Jane - Harmony is growing very rapdily and is full of attitude (just like her mum!) - she also has another cousin, just 2 days old! I hope you are collating colour co-ordinated rugs / headcollars / etc etc already!
Phantom's passing was so very sad but I know he 'went' a much loved pony.

Thankies for hellos and welcomes :)
Herbie is doing ok, stuck mid-weight at the moment, he looks ok, but can't seem to get any more on him, and the grass is lush (Magic has exploded and needs a diet!)
He was being worked gently to bring him back into things, and now is doing more and more to muscle up. He is such a wussy horse and stresses easily. Inside he is fine, no more signs of bacterial stuff (he had a minor version of what Phantom had, which took longer to come to surface)
Colours for Harmony? Probably pink :D Although we do fancy a nice leather foal headcollar! It's a girl thing :D |
