Hi I'm a complete newbie to breeding lines and wondered if anyone could tell me a little about my boys pedigree? I have read the Golden Cavalier thread with interest as he is Malis grandad, is this side of his family English/Crabbet? I don't really mind where he originates from as I think he is wonderful regardless but I never realised how interesting breeding could be until I stumbled on this site!
Bey Shemali by Ganemede (Gai Radiant/Gai Beisha) ex Gold Selene (Golden Cavalier/Saphira)
He must have been bred by Tina Cooke in Dorset. Ganemede is American breeding. He is of Gainey breeding which si quite weel known in the States. I am visiting Tina on Tuesday and will try and remember to ask her about him. I will also try and post a picture of him on here. Sahira was a lovely lady allbeit very bossy.
Thanks for your reply, yes I bought him last year from Tina Cooke, a very nice and helpful lady! She showed me lots of lovely photos of his relatives and told me all about his breeding but unfortunately I was so overwhelmed at having purchased my new baby I didn't take in nearly as much info as I would have liked! Am going to send her a progress report as soon as I get my finger out, been meaning to for months. If you see her soon please let her know he is well, behaving impeccably and growing like a weed
