Just thought I'd mention it
I've started my new job and I am sooooo out of my comfort zone at the moment. Plus still doing my old job for the next three weeks as well. I'm not being paid double the money though
I keep waking at 3am because my mind is BUZZING.

In a months time you'll be wondering what you were worrying about Vera - always takes time to settle in to something new. Hope it all goes well - shame you aren't being paid double though !! |

If your brain does explode it'll make a terrible mess and then you will expected to clean it up and then you will have another job to do. No no put your brain in the freezer and chill it before it gets too hot and overloads.
Actually I think its a bit unkind to expect you to do both jobs at the same time. Its hard enough starting a new job - learning curve etc etc - but to have to continue in the old job too. Well its a bit much. |

This is really beginning to stress me out - I CANNOT do both jobs at the same time. I was in a meeting this morning and all I could think of is what needs doing in the old job. I am not giving 100% to either job despite working 11 hour days with no breaks.
Wish I got paid by the hour but I work flexi time and am already 3 days in credit. I am taking this afternoon off, I am going to play horses and chill.
Monday I am going to work old job morning - new job afternoon. If I get queries /requests/interuptions etc, which I 100% know will happen I shall simply say, you will have to see/speak to me next morning / afternoon (wish it were that simple though).
Good news is that my head hasn't exploded yet - agree it would make a terrible mess which I don't fancy having to clean up! |
