Does anyone have any horses related to Halma, liver chestnut stallion which stood at Granby stud with Mrs Mathias of Shipton on Stour. We had a lovely mare by him and her daughter has just had a foal for her owners which made me think of that line. love to know who has relatives. Sue.

I have a rose grey Arab called Independence Day. he was born in 2000 out of Candide. She was bred by Mrs Mathias and was born on 13/5/88. Candide's dam was Celia and her sire was Ludriss. Celia's parentage was Halma and Linknumstar Lear.
Sadly I dont know who sired Independence Day as he is unregistered. If anyone can throw some light on that I would be very interested
