I used to help muck out India, by Persimmon out of Indian Spring, he got me totally hooked on Arabs and Bays, (SWOON) I have some pictures of him if anyone wants me to post. |

I think you were in the ring at the show i took took the grown up Indie pic... I had his pictures pinned up next to my bed when i was a kid and some other lovely arabs too, Hope it was ok posting the b+w one, i didn't know it was you i cut it out of a magazine when i was about 14 i think. |

india is alive but has not had such a good time since being bought from the last professional people to own him .he was rehomed and now lives in heywood lancashire he was a starvation case .he has agood life but wasnt always the best tempered of stallions |

Hi Angel,
Thanks for putting the picture of India on this page. This was probably one of my first times at an Arab show. This was Haydock Park back in 1992 I think. Here he won his class with Elegant Gold standing second to him.
I was a bit slimmer then!!!
India wasn't an easy horse to show but after a while we built up a good relationship.
He is still going strong and looks fab at 21!!!
Please Note he was sold from my yard and I lost track of him, found where he was via a phone call. He was indeed a poor horse at that time. The people were by no means professional but they assured me he would have a nice home. Sometimes, unfortunatly we get it wrong.
Now he has a fantastic home and looks well, he is a credit to his new owners. |
