I just had to post this picture of such a pretty foal. His name is Alfie (but am sure he will command a much fancier name later)he was born on May 14th owned by Terri Underhay.
His Sire is Al Waha's Daas (Imad x Dancing Queen) his dam is (Bella) Broughton Rhiannon By Maylands Sid x Broughton Rhosywn (there is a lot of Llanarth breeding in her pedigree).
Now Daas of course is chestnut and Bella is dun, so what colour do you think Alfie will be There is quite a lot of palomino and a few dun in his pedigree.
Colour would be immaterial - I just think he's the bees kneesand a fantastic example of his wonderful bloodlines.

What a lovely looking chappie. I am going to say Buckskin... Definately not a palamino, as he already has one white sock, and the other three are showing black, with black tinges in his tail. Lovely colouring though. Good luck with him, and I hope we get to see more of him as his colour changes. Paul |

i think i would go towards buckskin, the dark bits behind the pasterns are too black looking for a pally, despite the really blonde mane, the tail is showing signs of dark hairs. Vote buckskin but WOW - what a gorgeous baby - you must be thrilled to bits! Nice mare too, good bloodlines and an excellent example of the arab x welsh cross. Huge congratualtions - keep the pics coming. |
