Unfortunatly where i had certain meds and was on experimental chemo it left me with some skin scarring as did not agree with me and made me getquite bad outbreak of skin which i was always fortunate not to have even in my teens.. apparently this is becouse i have coloured blood/skin and when it heals it heals quite thick so having facial scarring removed which is nearly the whole of my right side of face!!but under local .. I am going to see if i can be put out fully as it will be worth paying extra for that me thinks !!! as i dont do blood needles and am bricking it. Mum and dad bless um are saying dont worry wel hold your hand!!!! am in me 40s but still baby and need them!!!! Anybody else had their face worked on.. i have the plastic surgeon max facial people going to treat me. Back from dentist £185xray.. clean.. 2 fillings Did not have to have tooth removed as i thought that broke of last week!!! trouble is what do you do ? i hate my teeth and go regular proberly every 4 months approx as i like to have them cleaned. Hubbie and i have decided we are going to have the white smile done!!!!!! as i have more confidence with my teeth done and have a huge filling in the front which i have removed at least once a year and replaced so as it stays a little nicer as goes of colour really quick being a heavy coffee drinker and fags!! (no comments please on smoking!!) To have vaneers on these front ones its a fortune so i thought wed have the fullworks as willlast several years more. Beginning to wonder if its maybe a midlife crisis am starting on weight loss..teeth.. the knife.. and growing my hair long again after having it short last year for some stupid reason!! cant believe i had it all cut of short!! am a nutter!!! Oh well i got to feel better once its all done (i hope!!) My husband says at least by going dentist im not a gummy mummy but a yummy mummy!!! wonder why the prat is creeping me suspisious!!!! never trust men when theryre being nice me thinks!!!! |

I hate going to the dentist, but I had to go yesterday and have a root canal treatment done, wasn't too bad, the injections took effect and couldn't feel it at all when the dentist was doing the work. Once the injections wore off it ached a little bit so I took a couple of Ibuprofen and the pain went away. I went to bed, got up this morning, was hurting a bit, went to work, was hurting some more, took more painkillers, nothing happened, pain has got worse and worse as the day has gone on so I had to come home from work at 2 pm and went to bed and slept for four hours!! Found some stronger painkillers - Co-dydramol - took a couple of them, tooth hurt less for about half an hour, but now it's back to really hurting again Me not happy This cost $1,220 for one tooth!!
I am also meant to be moving apartment this week to get all my stuff moved over to the new apartment by 3 pm on Saturday, the last thing I feel like doing at the moment is hauling boxes and bags of stuff up and down stairs!!
Good luck with the plastic surgeon on Saturday Nutter! |

Ive had a couple root canals done in the past and i have to say mine did take a while to settle down.. So hopefully it will improve in time.. I hate tooth ache and ear ache so i do feel for you.. The joke is we pay for pain and discomfort!!!! got to be worth it in the end though surely. |

Well I'm still in a lot of pain, got the extra strong painkillers/anti-inflammatories today which take the edge of the pain for about an hour after I take them then it just comes back again, the tablets are also making me feel woozy, don't know how I got through the whole day at work today and the lovely people there didn't even ask me how I was feeling, apart from the girl who sits opposite me! I'm sure they think I'm faking it - I'd love for them to be in this amount of pain and see how it feels!!! Spoke to the nurse at the dentists again today and she said if the pain hasn't settled down by tomorrow morning I'll have to go in to see the dentist again! |
