Hi,
Can anyone give me some info on Ventican. I know he stood in the Uk for a while but does he still? Also did he ever race? I know his sire Vatican won the Russian Derby.

not sure where he is now but this was a copy photograph i downloaded as he is the grand-sire to my arab filly who is by krown.

| He was with Sue Richards in Abergavenny for several years,I have a bay daughter that I ride but has definately not inherited any racing genes!Think Sue sold him to Mrs.Hedley sometime last year. |

Hi Paul,
I have the Vatican daughter Mirath ex Mimoza (Mustang x Mushmula by Aswan) and she has turned out to be an excellent broodmare. She has done well in the showring too.
I would love to see photos of Ventican if anyone has one.

I have photos from Briery open day, will get them scanned and posted. They are my own amateur photos and he really does look much better in person

hiya nikki, sorry late replying but i am having to borrow my freinds pc when i can as mine is down  here are some pictures taken of mia taken last year, she is out of melika your mare, by the russian stallion krown, will send more pics when i can. Verena.

ahh she's is gorjus, she is very much a krown baby, though i can see she has leeka's feet by the looks of it!
i've texted a head pic to my e-mail, will post it once it arrives.

Hi Nikki,
Verenas filly is stunning. I loved your mare when I saw her at her old yard. My friend and I had her last born (until you had her) colt out of Krown too. Very nice also. A good friend off AL had him off us due to lack of time. I'll try and get you some more pics. |

Thanks all for your comments but still not sure if Ventican ever raced, but what a beautiful boy.
Lovely filly by Krown. I have met Krown he's in race training with Sam Davison, he ran at Wolverhampton and is running at Hereford this weekend. Krown is the most beautiful stallion, big bold and powerful, really nice quality stallion.
Also running this season by Ventican is Nadal who is entered at Exeter.

| Did Ventican not come to the UK via Kossack??? Maybe they have race results for you. I'm sure being Tersk bred he must have raced at some point |

Krown was at Hereford on Saturday and did race, leaving you a snap of him before the race. He's a lovely big bodied grey, an outstanding looking & bred Arab,last time I saw him was showing at Malvern. Sue

Ventican was at the SRG show last month - I'm sure I have photos if anyone wants me to post them. Lovely boy - if it's the same horse - must dig out programme and check.  |
