I have just bought a nice part bred arab mare, she is out of a pure arab mare called Procindra, but as she is by a warmblood stallion she is registered in the AES and it doesn't show her dams breeding at all on there. It just says her name followed by 251 AHS.

Is there any way of finding out who Procindra's parents are?

Many thanks

Sam x

She does not appear to be on allbreedpedigree but if she was a registered pure bred the Arab horse Society data base will have her listed.

There is quite a few folks on here that have all the stud books and may be able to look her breeding up..I've posted her name with a note, so lets see if anyone comes back. Sue

Hi! Procindra is by Procyon a grey stallion who is of straight Spanish bloodlines. Procyon is by Saludo out of a mare called Casiopea. Procindra's dam is Indra Mohini by Shah Jehan (Polish/English lines) out of Scindigo Blue (old english). I hope this helps.
Sally.

Hi, Procindra raced between 89' and 93' with Karen Seers who was based in Sussex. She won a race and was placed many times. I used to ride her and she was a sweetie. As I remember she was grey with little black dots all over her.
