The vet coming in half an hour so will give you further update when I get back, I was just in a heap when I found that out the indentation above her eye is huge where there is muscle wastage and the other eye is that of a young horse, to be honest how she looks is of no importance to me as she is the love of my life its just the pain she is still in that bothers me and that is only noticable when you attempt to reduce it, if she has 3 legs and 2 heads I could not love her any less so just want her to be happy and without pain, thats all I am asking for and so desperately trying to acheive so get broken hearted when they find yet another problem, but I will never give up on her, no matter what it takes, I just think I am so worn out and emotionally drained at the moment just wish I could stop crying and use the energy for more constructive use |

The vet has been, he scanned her, which did not show anything really and he took x rays again of her head and jaw, I think everyone is totally flumoxed, the atrophy above her eye is really marked, but if it were nerve damage then the whole side would be paralized and her nose would be dropped and the eye would be droopy and the mouth , which it isn't so my vet said he is going to have a chat with a friend of his who is a neurologist at Newmarket to see if he can shed any light on what might be causing it, also he took some pics with a camera, so I just have to wait and see what the results are anything to do with me is never straight forward |

Thank you for all your warm wishes and interest in her recovery she is still fat and round and to look at her she looks like there is nothing wrong the vet said she is so pretty and such an easy horse, she dosed in my arms while he took the x rays of her jaw, I told him she would not need a sedative, she is just soo good, well I better get back to the packing YUK!!!!! love to you all from me and Milly |
