Hi the tb that I bought a couple of months ago went to France as my husband there awaiting my move over there. I bought her as she was advertised as rides like a cob....... bless her she was raced then had 2 foals then lost 2 foals so was "outed", she was a very gentle, very pretty chestnut mare. It became evident that she had never been broken or schooled, just raced...... she did not put a foot wrong but was totally unbalanced and had no idea what was being asked of her, also she was very underweight She has been in France a month now is putting on weight, turned out with 2 shetlands that she adores and my Very Novice husband rode her out this morning with a friend and she never put a foot wrong, she loved it and so did he, so much for chestnut mares with 4 white socks

She looks a really nice sort Gerri don't forget that some of the nicest horses I've had have been chestnut mares with white socks so I'm biased anyway Simon & Dan should get a lot of pleasure out of her, and you as well |

ahhhh thanks everyone she is just so gentle and unoffensive and loves a fuss but Milly got sick I just could not give her the time I wanted to so sent her to Simon as I knew it would give him something to do and he does her really early in the morning and then in the evening and makes a huge fuss of her grooming and handling, shes another that won't get passed on as had a bad start, so I will start her basic training from scratch and school her myself when I get there, at the moment is just hacking her out in the countryside and not asking anything of her, just to built her confidence and get used to her surroundings. She adores the shetlands apparently, which is so sweet |

Hi Gerri She looks a lovely sweet mare. Where abouts in France are you? We are thinking of moving there too! Trying to quit the 'rat race'. Can't wait to move either away from London or to France How long have you been in France Sabine |

Hi Gerri, looking at her again I can see why Sy was reminded of Valentine and I'll bet you have trouble getting her back from him but as you said earlier today she will need some schooling |

OMG! Yes! poor Sy, I reckon it's because his legs are so long it takes extra time to get the signals from the brain all the way down only kidding I'm sure you're going to end up with one lovely mare - might have to come over and check |

Hi Gerri,
What's the name of the village?
South of Toulouse is where I came from and all my family is there too - all over Haute-Garonne. My mum lives to the south near the Pyrenees.
Small world heh?

Oh my God Gerri what a coincidence - I think I know where you're renting - I have quite a few friends with horses around Comberouger. Are you buying there too? |

We are buying the house that we were renting, my husband rented it while we were looking for a house with all the facilities we needed and the owners asked if we would like to buy it and we said yes so we are really lucky to be able to buy it |
