Hi anyone that can help!
This is my baby! I paid for him when he was just 3mths old and we've been together 18yrs. His breeder is a friend of mine, but until recently I've never really thought about how much Crabbet / Old English blood he has?? I've tried working it out but I'm rubbish st these things!! Can anyone out there help please???
I have known siblings in the past, but their owners didn't know either!

What a lovely pedigree - at a rough guess he is about 92.4% Crabbet and traces through his tail female line to Selma I and is a Hamdani Simriyah.
Not very much but I hope it helps. |

If you go into the allbreedpedigree link and click on the info button above the pedigree details, it says he is 92.383125% crabbet

Lady tee- do you have any pics? I always love to see photos of his relatives. They have an amazingly uncanny resemblance to one another! We have a mare related to him- his dad is her grandad- and they pull the same expressions!
Mrs DJ- I am not currently a member of all breeds, do you have to be to get that info? If so would you mind very much looking at our mare for us too? She is related to mt old boy and her name is Perfect Grace.
Very grateful for everyones help! xx |

No, I'm not a member, sorry!
The info button I'm referring to is located at the side of his name on Allbreeds - a circle with an i in it. Anyone can use it.
The info seems to differ from horse to horse though - for my mare it tells you her stud book number, breeder and what colour she is. Suppose it depends on what details the database holds.
I found out about my mares crabbet percentage from someone called Bia who posts on here, although I haven't seen anything from her for ages - does anyone know why Bia hasn't posted lately?????
She was a mine of information about breeding percentages - it's what got me hooked on AL . |

I know lots of the Sulan clan as they are friends of mine, but never really bothered to find out how much crabbet blood my boy has.
Thanks very much Mrs DJ! I will take another look.
Any pics of my boys siblings are always nice! |

Had a look at the Infor sign- don't know how they know that!!! I have owned him all his life and while I put him on All breeds, even I didn't know his %!! Someone obviously did, perhaps it's the computer??
Either way, not complaining. Thanks for that. Never noticed that I before- I am now going to look at all my horses and see if there is any info on any of the others!!
Thankyou |

Neither my mare who is 82% Crabbet or my colt who is 99% has this little sign by their name. I wonder does someone put the info on there?? |

Don't know who puts this info on.
I added my mare to allbreeds myself and shortly after that the info button appeared. Whoever added it made a mistake though - she was shown as a grey, when, actually, she's chestnut. Her AHS registration papers show her as chestnut/grey, so I suppose that could be where the mistake was from. It will let you amend it though - and you can add extra details if you wish. |

tillyben1 Sorry don't know where Sulan Jafar may be- have you tried contacting his breeder and asking her if she knows? If you don't know her, if you Pm me I can ask her for you and forward on a message.
Mrs DJ
Thanks for your help. I have told him what he is- he was very impressed- honestly!! :-)))) |

LOL
That's the trouble with these arabs - they are already aware that they're royalty, they don't need us to tell them the obvious |

Oh certainly knows. He's 18 1/2 now and still knows he is the top horse around here. :-))) We keep him well away from Jalmood for obvious reasons!
Didn't have the old boy cut until he was 5 1/2 and there a couple of "Little Wizards" out there, but not not be Arab mares. I just covered friends mares, but he still thinks he can do the thing! Found him mounting our PB mare last summer! LOL
