Have just seen your post, who was the stallion you looked at? I have a grand daughter of R Magic, she is gorgeous and should make a lovely show filly and eventually a great riding horse. I have an R Ali Bey daughter & now a 2 month old R Magic Filly...as the boys were both british national champions I think these amazing bloodlines are well worth keeping going.
R Magic has retired from public stud in Italy & only standing to private mares...hence I bought the last of the frozen seman from Liz Mitchell last year...hence my new georgeous filly !!
I bought an R Ali Bey 8 month old colt, sold him last October as a 5 year old just gelded. His first time under saddle he was 2nd in the Novice Gelding at NWRG. A tremendous character, would never kick, always talked and greeted you when he saw you. Any strangers in the yard he would bellow out. He was just like a pet dog. We all miss him terribly. He was tremendous with his mares. Would speak to them all. Never had to worry about him jumping fences and I could put a mare in season in the field next to him. Lovely bloodlines.
