Does anyone have any information about the breeding of the Palomino PBA stallion Paith Cadwyn Aur? Born about 1967 and was imported to sweden in 1976 together with another palomino stallion Kingsettle Tankah (who was one of the foundation sires i swedish riding pony breeding).

Welcome to AL. I have found Paith Cadwen Aur in Vol X of the Part-bred registry. He was born in 1967 Palomino and was by Siglen AASB (Anglo)AASB Vol V1, out of a mare called Paith Briallen who was not registered with the AHS. Hope this helps. |

Thank you for all information. I bought a unregisted palomino filly by Paith Cadwyn Aur out of a Standardbred mare in 1990, and she has produced several palominos when put to my chestnut arab Amaaly (St John-Rafid) and 2 cremellos when put to a palomino stallion called Curbitz (7/8 arab, and tracing back to bloodlines to the old Muston stud) |

Wow! There's a blast from the past. In 1961 I bought Paith Magpie. (at the time I had showjumpers) and somehow ended up with a 15hh cob X who was to end up as one of the greats of my life. She was out of Paith Buddug (sp) who was out of Paith Beauty, if my memory serves me right, and went on to be a Grade B showjumper, jumping round the big ring at Hickstead. A great line to breed exceptionally talented horses from, as her son followed in her footsteps in his jumping career. Great days. |
