My thoughts are with you at this terrible time and I can only imagine what you are going through, I was advertising my little tea cup chihuahua when I read your terrible news and paniced about all the calls I had had from people who asked for our address and never turned up, so not advertising her now as really scared someone must have planned it and knew exactly what they were looking for, I really hope it all turns out for you in the end, hugs and best wishes to you from everyone here x |

Hi Gang. Just thought I'd give you the latest on the missing girls. they have not yet returned but I've had some new information. A lady rang me on Sunday telling me about another lady who had recently used her daughter's Pug stud dog. The lady said that she had seen 3 pure bred Chihuahua puppies aged 3 weeks old being offered for sale at the Holmfirth Horse Sale about 3 weeks ago. She said she would have bought them but they could not survive at that age without their Mummy!! They would deffo be the same age as my puppies would have been at that time!! Holmfirth is in the Huddersfield area. so please any ALs who visit the sale, do keep your ears and eyes open. The sale is held every Saturday so I plan to go this weekend and distribute my leaflets to everyone and anyone. It is also the Clitheroe sale this Saturday, held the first Sat in every month. I did go to the last one and distributed my posters but I will send some friends to do the same this weekend whilst I'm at Holmfirth. I have also had some amazing info via the lovely Jill who is the diviner. It is very positive but I'm not quite sure how to proceed ie Do I call the Police and pretend I've had a tip off?? I cannot say too much about this lead but if anyone would care to PM me I can fill them in!! Another 2 Chihuahua girls have been stolen from West Yorkshire so please all Chi owners do guard them like hawks. Gerri. If you need to rehome your Chis I would suggest that you take any callers name, address, telephone numbers etc and give them a bit of an interview!! If they are genuine they will give this info freely, if not then beware!! You could arrange to meet them maybe on a pub car park and weigh them up before you take them to your home. Always take the car registration number. It is so awful but as I said in an earlier post, there are some truly lovely, caring people who's kindness has really humbled me. So we deffo can't throw the baby out with the bathwater!! Will keep you posted lovely peeps!! Love to all Annie xxxx |

Be careful Ann, this auction is one of the worst ones. I haven't been there since I rescued a pony from an awful dealer. It was so thin, they even had two kids on his back, sadly he lived for ten days, we had to put him to sleep, Simon our vet went mad when he saw the pony. It was ragwort that killed his liver it was the kindest thing to do, he couldn't have gone on much longer. I was asking a friend if she had been there recently, as I recalled having seen an older woman selling puppies and crossed dogs like your girls, she was a traveller and had kids helping her to sell them, but my friend hadn't been for ages. susan. |

anne, i do wish you all the luck in the world that your girls AND their babies will return home to you soon...
when you go to the sales why don't you have a good look around before handing your posters out... if they are there then the people may hide them if they get wind of your posters.... or give one to each official there and once you've had a good look, then give them out to the public..... |

Hi Gang. Well I do have some good news to report at last!!! I went to the Homfirth horse auction as planned. Amazingly, whilst on route I got a tip off that there was a guy there selling 3 Chihuahua puppies. As we were hopelessly lost in a blizzard at that time, you can imagine what my stress levels were like. Anyhow to cut a long story short, I found the guy and hey presto in the back of his van were 3 babies identical to Thumbalina's last litter!! I had to play it really cool and said I would buy them reluctantly!! Inside I was nearly throwing up with nerves!! I casually asked about the mother and he gave me some cock and bull story about she belonged to an old lady and had since been spayed etc. etc. I asked him if he could find me a couple of "breeding bitches" and told him I would pay good money for them!! Honestly, I could have won an oscar for my performance!! He said he would see what he could do. I have the guys contact details and know roughly where he is located. I again need to be careful how I proceed as I don't want to frighten them off by calling the police!! It really is a very scary world in that gypo/traveling fraternity. The little ones were freezing in a box in the van together with 3 Jack Russell x Chi babies. He asked me if I wanted to buy them also?? What could I do!! I asked him how old they were and he said 10 weeks! Yea right!!! When we got them all home, the JR babies couldn't even lap!!! All the babes have been wormed and fronlined, nails trimmed and are doing very well. Within an hour of getting them home and warming them up, some lovely puppy milk and a bit of food, they were all transformed from dithering wrecks to play fighting and rolling/waddling around. Just like puppies should be!! So a trip for all to the vets tomorrow!! I will get the chi puppies DNA'd but everyone who has seen them are convinced they are mine!! You cannot see the carpet in my lounge as it is a mass of newspapers but who cares??? I stayed up while 3 am just watching them last night. The story will not be complete until the girls come home but I feel I am so close now!! Watch this space kids!! I will deffo keep you posted!! Thanks again for all your kind words, help and support. A very happy Annie

Oh Annie---well done Thank goodness you took all the puppies---some people would have walked away from the crosses. I really hope these are your babies, but more than anything I really really hope this guy gets back to you with your two and sells them to you.You must be on a knife edge of excitement/anxiety just now. Good luck. |
