Yes problem is most lorries are in fact over weight so quite difficult to find one that can accommodate. I only have a 14.3 and an 11.2 but even then they are quite often only equipped to take two small poinies plus if I wanted to take my friends pony who is a VERY chunky 14.2 .......... I think the Renault's are usually quite good but they are sooo expensive! And i'm buying with a friend so thought we had quite a good budget between us but even with 8k to spend it's limited.

Yes 3.5 tonne and of course now we have to take into account this blasted emission zone! One show we can get to one way but if we go a different way then it's in the zone but noone seems to know which is the way we can go!

And human driver and other passengers of course.

The Renault Masters tend to have to best payloads of the 3.5t boxes at around 1100kg to 1200kg. I'm looking for one at the moment and hired a Marlborough conversion this weekend which was fantastic, so much easier to drive and park than the 7.5t'er I'm currently selling.

One firm I'm looking at buying through is Travel Two - they're very helpful and do have slightly older wagons so should have something within your budget.

My LT35 will carry 2 x 16hh without being overweight - I think (without checking) it has a payload of 1000kg
