Hi all, Didnt realise internet fraud was so rife untill I had the shock of my life when checking my emails to find 2 from woolworths thanking me for my order of 2 x playstation 3 with 4 games and an Lcd tv totalling £1400. when I went on to my woolies account my address had been changed, I then went back emails and SHOCK HORROR 2 emails from ebay sellers thanking me for my purchases of an orange top up card and a plasma tv totalling £720 and one from play.com confirming my order or 17 dvd's another £180... then I apparently went on a gambling spending £147 online betting.......Even my paypal account was hit which has my Bank account registered to it. I was tearing my hair out franticly cancelling credit cards and changing passwords. How the heck do they get the info. They knew all my passwords and usernames. It's so scarey. I have now spent the day changing all of my passwords etc and removing card details from websites who store them. Luckily I have managed to sort most of it out but it's been an absolute nightmare.
Always remember to regularly change your passwords and dont leave credit/debit card details with sites you have made purchases from.

Just have to add (because I know Timberwolf won't) that she had to stay up most of the night clearing up the mess, and had to have a day off work to sort out all her passwords, details, etc.
Bl**dy thieving so-and-so's, what gives them the right to take from good, hard-working, caring people.
Please stay vigilant everyone, and don't let these low-lives get something for nothing, they really don't deserve it!!!

Hi
It can happen for numbers of reasons but one of the most common is what I have said before 'SPYWARE' is Ok having a laugh with the SCAMMERS but they are ultimately having the last laugh because they are filching all your information while you keep replying to them delete any e-mail that you don't know who it's from, don't open attachments and try to use protected sites, but we all know were there's a will there will alway's be a determined person.
Sorry about your inconvenience.
