Does anyone have any old pictures of their wonderful neddies from years ago??? Here's sophia on her first ever ride out ... of course she found is extremely boring ... (hence the big yawn) ... zzzzz - only 4 at the time

This is a very young and very grey Silvern Sheena, She's probably about 4 here, the previous year she had been pink  I would have loved her to stay this wonderful dapple grey colour, however she is destined to follow in the steps of her ancestors and be Snow White eventually (off to buy shares in dungaway  ) |

Wow Lauren! What an amazing transformation in your girl! Are you back out int he ring with her this year?
Oh thanks, I think so too, Emily and I always refer to her as our fairytale horse - just thought her dapples were amazing as had never seen anything like it before, she looked almost spotted at one point lol. She's doing really well Emily is. as always, working really hard and she'll be back out with Emily under saddle this year - we're really excited already, the term Gluton for punishment springs to mind

Caroline always had her beautifully turned out
Weee-ll, hopefully The weather has been so bad lately that we haven't been able to work her all that much.... still I live in hope to perhaps get her out to at least one show She's being ever so good and I feel absurdly proud of her seeing her with tack on etc  Regardless, I'll try to go to the majority of shows just to watch
Ooh fab - look forward to seeing her out! Any ideas of which shows yet? Will keep my fingers crossed for htis being the year

YAY!!!! You have to get her out to a few shows - the majority this way are months away still so you've got loads of time . It will be great to see her out under saddle.
Not too sure yet, probably lots up Emily's way - all HOYS Qualifiers I expect. We'll keep our fingers crossed you just never know xx |

We were recently very kindly sent these (taken by Gail Hoff Carmona) of our Babson Egyptian boy Princeton Mariner as a 2 yr old, before he was exported from USA... he looks so young!

Thanks Jane! He is about to go off to be broken, if all goes well he could be out under saddle this year in the novice stallions so fingers crossed!

Hi all thanks for your lovely comments! I must get some up to date photos of him, that last one above was taken on my phone and is rubbish quality, but currently he is very hairy so no good for photos!
Hi Angie - actually no he is not massive, at the moment he is about 14.2, although I am not sure as I haven't measured him. He is rising 4 this spring so has a bit of growing to do yet. I expect him to be the 'normal' Arabian height of about 15hh as both his dad and mum are average height. |
