I am going to give you another free clue, as I have just read two conflicting stories of this horse, one says he was born in Poland, but the other says he was born in eurtro in the USA, so it may help to know he was in the US during his breeding life |

Well done Hannah - you beat me to it!! I had just found him on allbreeds - looked for grey stallions from 1962 by distinguished Polish parents and with the same pink muzzle. A lot of work finding him, I have to say!
After finding him on allbreeds I checked my own files and found this photo which showed the same dark mane and convinced me it had to be him.
I also have another pic of him in the same black bedouin halter as in your photo Lynda - not a head shot though.

Ahh, he was easy for me to find really, as i'd already done some research on his sire Czort, as im a fan of pure Polish, and he was a prolific racehorse.
I recognized Czortan from a different picture of him on allbreeds, just had to cross-reference that pic with one that i had bookmarked on Southern Star Arabians site, and there he was!
Did have an inkling it was him before i looked at the other picture though

well done Hanna 5*'s I went to see him in the states and almost bought him , My daughter offered to buy him for me, as I was so blown away by him, but I thought Crimbo wouldnt like him he has been sold to Australia now, a big loss for the UK, because if I had bought him it would have brought some much needed quality blood to this country oh well you cant miss what you never had |
