I agree with you Anne, he was not easy.. until Lynda gave the clue "early American foundation" which made me to search *Raffles progeny as my first option.. and there he was!!

dont give up Sue, look at each horse, go on your initial guess and work from there, clues can be asked for and although you might not get so many *'s they all soon add up, what is your favourite horse type and I will see if I can find you a few 9but you need to check regularly in case someone gets there before you
