Hello Sue Haven't got H.B.S.B. Barren in 1932 and '39; not covered in 1932-'3-'4-'5. Produce in 1937-'38 bred by Lord Sandwich, and afterwards by Thriplow Farms Lrd., Thriplow, Cambs.
p.26 IV. p.95 AWNING (1922). by Royal Canopy - Alarmed; - 1932. B. c. Siesta by Pondicherry. 1934. Gr. c. Grey Wind by Pondicherry. Barren in 1929 and '33; dead foal in 1935, and shot in December, 1935, owing to an enlarged heart. Produce bred by Mr F. S. Brown, Stanton, Shifnal. Awning Girl, her 1928 Gr. f., was re-named Gold Light (p. 27). Windolite, her 1930 Gr. c., won 11 races £24041/2, before export to Java in 1936, where he won further races, and was used as a stallion.
Got some info on Gamara and her produce but run out of time as I need to go to the dentist so can write it up for you later this evening.

Re. Gamara
I notice that you say "produce bred by Miss Rosemary Dykes" who is now Mrs Rosemary Archer. I'm sure that Mrs Archer or her daughter Caroline Sussex would be able to give you information. |
