He wasn't bred in America but did a lot of racing there. He was bred just over the border.

| Wow, lucky guess !! Amazing horse, although I didn't really know of him over here until he became such a prolific sire, probably Nijinsky being the first one of his famous sons of note in the UK. Thanks for showing the photo of him, nice to see. |
