Hi
Anyone remember him? He was bred by the Angolds and very successful i believe as a racehorse and as a sire of racehorses. I have his full sister and would love to know about him.

Hi Emma,
I haven't heard of him but can look himmas I have all the Arab race records since its inception in 1978!
What was his breeding? Did you race his sister?

Hi
No i never raced his sister but she was the only one of the full siblings never to have raced. I got her aged 9 but she really was bred for it and her yearling filly is the fastest thing i have ever seen, both have that racehorse attitude!
He is an anglo by Blue Madrigal (AA) out of the TB mare Honey Lady. When i first got involved in arabs i remember reading something about him either being the leading racehorse of the year or the leading racehorse sire of the year if thats any help. I know the whole family were successful on the track.

Found it, I was going to use him in 1992, where do the years go !!
I only have his 1991 results Larkhill 6F 1st, Worcester 6F 2nd, Fakenham 7F 4th.
I'm sorry I can't post pictures but I'll mail Judith with the photo and info and ask her to post it,

Wow thats super thanks everyone. I never imagined he would have a flaxen mane!
Would you be able to pass on the contact details from the stud card to me please, would be nice to see if i could get in touch with them, although it is likely as he is older tah my mare that he has now passed away.

| hi, I used to own sporting chances full brother pinnerwood blackjack. he was qiute simply the best horse i have ever met. i sold him to matt ryans wife because they offered me more money that i could afford to tuen adown and he is now a 3 star eventer. sadly, i have regretted it every day since and will never sell another horse for all the tea in chins lol. i will try and work ouy how to post pics of jack, he is jet black! |

I thought it was you when i saw your username. I spoke to Nikki Ryan last year as i wanted to visit Jack but never actually managed to sort it out, i know she was planning on using him at stud last year. Who did you breed him to? I seem to remember you saying he had covered a percheron?
I bred my mare to the TB Infantry and have a super yearling filly.

hi emma, how are you hun? the kids and me are doing great thanks. congratulations on your mares baby, you'll have to post some pics i would love to see her. i haven't been to see jack because i just can't face it i never should have let him go . i used jack on another anglo mare who had a beautiful black filly, now about 6 years old and the image of jack although only 15.1hh. she is for sale and i can't go to see her either cos i will want her!! also used him on a tb, a percheron, (that foal was fab too, but too heavy for me, he was jet black too), a shire, an id x tb. oh and one of my purebreds but she never got in foal sadly, all the others did so i think it was her not him. graet to hear from you , stay in touch my email is jojazzyb@aol.com. xxxxxx |
