I've tried before but I'm bored so I thought I'd try again I've owned Jason since May 1995, we got him from a dealer in Liverpool who told us that he was from wales. I always thought he was a part bred but we've been 'reliably' informed that he looks completely pure bred in the flesh by numerous judges and other people. He's approx 15hh with 3 socks and a scar on his near side knee. Freezemarked 76AG (I've tried going through Farmkey but got nothing.
I don't actually have many good, clear photos on this computer but these will do for now....
I know its a long shot but I just thought I'd give it a go

Hi Serenade Bit worrying that Farmkey dont have any records. Why are we paying our premiums if they cant trace a horse.
I hope that someone is able to give you more information on Jason. Either way he looks like a lovely boy and nowhere near 21. He is a credit to you. Best wishes Debbie |

There has been other companies freeze marking horses, Equestrian Security Services being one of them and they do no longer exist. |

ESS, only did the 'Other' type of freeze mark and of late there is Freezemark run by the folks that used to manager Farmkey from the 1975 till afew years ago... they both might be at Equine Event..
Your freeze mark looks to be the same style as Farmkey & Freezemark, I don't think Freezemark was going 21 years ago...although your horse could have been marked at any time.. and don't forget they are all covered by data protection. If your going to the equine event, why don;t you speak to Mary & Clare from Freezemark, just in case they can advice you.. |

When you say "farmkey-got nothing," what do you mean ? its not one of their marks,or they would not tell you anything ? and he looks super by the way, pure bred I would think. Polly |

I re-registered him with in my name as he was registered with Farmkey. I paid my £15 to have my details passed on to the last registered owners in the hopes that they'd get in touch but no-one did. For obvious reasons they wont pass on any details of his last registered owners. Oh and thank you all for the nice comments :) |

Ever since we last communicated I have been keeping my eyes open and racking my brains as he seems so familiar but to no avail. |
