Hi all Has anyone got a decent photograph of Bon Ami Khalleeb who was by Mr. Sun-Tan out of Penhill Spanish Fiesta.
This is the only picture I have managed to come across. This was from the Winter 1986 Palomino magazine. It shows Khalleeb out with his favourite mare Heatherbelle
Any photos or information about the dam would also be appreciated. Best wishes Debbie

Hi, I know of his owner, so will contact her to see if she has any nice pictures of him, have you got a horse with his lines in their pedigree? I have a P.B.A. whose dam was by Bon Ami Khalleeb. |

Hi, my mares Dam was "Woodsaws Goldilocks", my friend owned her & bred my mare, unfortunately Goldi died several years ago now. I have tried to call Juliet but keep missing her & being in France have asked a friend who see's her occasionaly to ask her for a nice photo. |

I do have a pic of him that i took when i bought a palomino filly off Nola Stephens back in 1983 but it isn`t very good, its a close up of him standing in the field looking rather tired after a busy season with all those arab mares ! ha ha |

Thanks guys. I dont mind how tired or old he is - I just want to see him a bit closer up!
Sarah - I have just received another load of old Palomino magazines from the 50s and 60s - there is not much in them but I will post any photos that might be of interest.
Happy New Year to all. Debs |

Hey Debs , Happy New Year ! Where on this Earth are you finding all these old Palomino magazines ? Its a small world ,Bon Ami Khaleeb was out of Penhill Spanish Fiesta i didn`t realise until a few years ago that the Penhill stud was actually in the same town that i live in & its just a stones throw across the valley from where i moved my 2 girls to last Feb! Sylvia Coates stopped breeding many years ago , but maybe i should go & pay her a visit sometime ! Ok Debs heres the pic i took of him ,but its not one of my best ! Sarah X Bon Ami Khaleeb |

Hi, lovely photo of Khalleeb, nice to see my mares ancestors! I have been trying to find out what the missing parts in my mares pedigree are for ages, I still don't know what Pennhill Petite was, breed, colour etc, she was the grand dam to Pennhill Spanish Fiesta, Dam side. Does anyone know anything about her? If Sarah you do visit Mrs Coates, would you be able to ask her? Also would love to know what breed Sylvia VI was, she is the Dam of Mr Sun Tan. |

If you knew how hard we on AL have all tried to find out about this mare , after much searching it was discovered that she was a grey 14.3hh British Sports horse , but no info after that im afraid !
