Hi Sarah
I have come across some of those photos in my old mags. The Monclare horses do look very special. This is spurring me on to try to ring Mrs. Munday again to see if we can get some colour shots or Mr. Sun-Tan and his dam.

OMG what a treat..Thanks, But Hold your horses, Its Mrs Collings that had Mr Sun Tan and NOT Mrs Munday.....please don't mix them up...

now added pic of Monclare Arabian King & Morning Sun to allbreeds, but need some pedigree for Morning Sun.... Sun Lord. a bit lighter.

Heres Morning Sun`s pedigree ,
i found out that his dam was by Bubbly out of a mare called Coquette (Chestnut ) so added her as i dont know which one she is
( there are loads of them )! If anyone out there knows Mrs Diane Biggs who had the Shergolds Palomino stud from 1958-88 then maybe we will find out , she lives in Basingstoke! chestnuthttp://www.allbreedpedigree.com/monclare+morning+sun
