Well last night Liam pulled up at home grinning ear to ear in his brand new van VAN!! Its huge how anyone can call it a van its beyond me its the same size as the horse lorry!!! Now when my Liam is driving his car EVERYONE is so jealous of his boys racer they drive into him on a regular basis!!!!! he without prejudice to him is not the brightest spark and they give him his own new van/lorry!!! he cant map read i would not have thought!!! and has yet to buy a sat nav for it, today he is driving the otherside of Bristol then Cornwall for a job!!!!he left at 6am this morning grinning ear to ear wonder how long the grin lasted!!! i feel physically sick with worry for him, i know hes nearly 20 but hes still one of my babies.
Then my youngest this morning the teenage mare that is suffering with mood swings and very tempermental was thinking about sprinkling her cereals with the moody mare powder!!!! is banging around getting ready for school then disapears with a cup of tea into thin air!!!(if only) so i go looking for her and she is outside at the table chairs doing her makeup, now the next question i asked i suppose i should have realised id get a snappy answer, i asked what are you doing?!!!!! to which she replied my foundation theres not enough light in that house!!!! she then came in 5 mins later looked at herself in a mirror then this huge smile spread across her face and she said fab il do it outside in future!!!! did not like to inflict upon her it will be dark outside in a few weeks at 7am!!! or it could even be raining!!!!

Made me laugh too. Thankfully I missed the moody mare senario but had loads of testosterone flying around before my pair fled the nest. I think towards the end there's just too many adults under one roof!!!
I will always remember the youngest throwing the usual "I'm moving out!!!" wobbly - absolutely gobsmacked when Mum got more cases and helped him pack!!!! We laugh about it still! Reason being, Mum had held on to the eldest as long as she could through, rows, strops the lot and realised (all too late) that when he had gone, the relationship between us blossomed into something much nicer, that I cherish even more, so was only too pleased to help the little git on his way lol!!!
Hang in there Nutter - it does get better and you will definately look back and laugh.

Had to smile at this as well, as Sandie says, hang in there, it does get better - apart from the make up thing, I'm forever catching my 20yr old "borrowing" my foundation, mascara, perfume etc., so would advise keeping yours somewhere safe |

Hi just read your stories, have the 14 year old moody mare at moment, hubby says everyone with 14 year olds are going through the same, I think i'll leave home for a couple of yearsGlad that it will get better, but we have a 10 year old, so it will be one down another to go, but would not change them for the world (most days that is).
Better just try to shut up and smile (ha, ha)
