I have quite a few of the NPS stud books. What is it that you want to know? |

I'll do my best to sort through my books, but it might take a little while as I am in the middle of sorting out the programme etc. for the Cherif. |

Have you tried ringing the NPS for information. The problem with looking through their stud books is that offspring are not listed under sire or dam. The NPS have the majority on their data base. |

I've found Autumn Gold and his half brother Autumn Tint, but don't have books any further back. However I know the person who owned the sire of Autumn Gold, so will contact her to see if she has kept records. Keep your fingers crossed. |

Update is that I contacted the owner/breeder of Binghams Bivouac who gave me the phone number for the Trellech Stud. Out of the Blue was one of their foundation mares - 15h.h. unregistered thoroughbred and was liver chestnut, and is registered with NPS. She apparently had the most wonderful temperament. I wont put up phone details on the site, but if you email me I can give you details.

Hi Lydia, Yes I know Out of the Blue (Cherry), I sold her to Carol & John in 1970,when they were setting up Trelleck, they said they'd keep her for good and they did, I had shown her a few times and she was a lovely bright chestnut mare and winning at all outings. Did Tint have the same sire and can you tell me what year that one was born & sex and any others you might find. I also sold them Cherry's filly by Bwlch Zepher, Breeze, but never caught up with all her other offsprings and just thought I'd like to know, who they were (names) and who they were by. Will have to go and visit them one of these days again. If you'd like to see this mare I still have pictures of her. Thanks Sue. |
