Been down the yard since 12 noon, just got back, i have had to have my little filly Pif sedated and her right hind leg stapled, i dont know how she did it, but she has a massive piece of skin and tissue missing down to the bone, just on the hock inside, just missed a very important vein thankfully, but she is feeling sorry for herself now, and she has to stay on box rest for quite a while, which is going to be challenge for a yearling.
Paula.

Thanks all, she seems reasonably ok this morning but very sore! she is quite aggitated by it and got very angry when the other horses went out, although she has a companion with her so she should be ok, also someone elses horse has gone down with colic this morning, so much more serious so my prayers are for her and her horse, im going back down shortly to help an make sure everyone else is ok. |

Loads of healing vibes being sent to you and your yard. Be thankful that she is young and should heal fast. Loads of hug and kisses to all sick horses. |
