Akram Gold actually had 7 offspring. 2 purebreds, Ramak Gold and Samira Gold both out of Tamila, and they show and do dressage. He also had 5 partbreds. I only have info on 2 of them. A little palomino (Icarus) who safely carries his little girls around hunter trials etc and a chestnut gelding his name escapes me (senior moment) out of a trakener mare who does endurance. One of the others is out of a welshsie and was stunning but I have no idea where she is now.
There is a Cavalier mare Bey Selima, who has qualified for HOYS two years running. There are many more out there including his most famous son, Imad.
Tina Cooke from Dorset had him for most of his life before he went to Sue Bundy. He was a lovely boy and quite laid back especially when covering. |

Ah your boy is lovely to I will dig out and scan some photos over the weekend end for you I have some of cavalier at shows to he was such a stunning horse.
I dont do that much with Akram just a bit of local showing, dressage and he loves to charge round the country side. To be honest hes more of a pet really I brought a house and this stunning chestnut stallion was in the field next door and so I after a few months of getting to know him I asked Pauline (Tamilla from here) if I could buy him. |

Is he still a stallion? How do you find keeping a stallion? Michelle |

Sadly he is no longer a stallion he was gelded at 8 years old. He became very fustrated with living on his own and not covering anymore that he started chewing his sides so it was only fair to geld him. Now a much happier pony and has a little coloured pony and a part bred as friends!!! |

I really did not want to geld him but to me his peace of mind came first. He now has the best home he could ever have with Lisa and I I have never regretted selling him to her although sometimes I wish I still had him as a stallion especially as I now have two mares that I could have run with him. |

There is also Akram's full sister Hameelya who did very well in ridden showing and then went on to do endurance. She is 21 now and retired and lives in Dorset I think. |

Imadia is beautiful. I saw her when I took my filly to visit Imad. She isn't very big about 14 1. She has a great home now were she is doing well under saddle.
