Hi all,
its my first time posting I have recently bought my first arab, a 9 year old ex race arab mare, she was imported from Argentina raced here then sold on...to me!...she is a very sweet girl, very forward going and possibly hing I may have bitten off more than I can chew lol but intend to hopefully learn together or fall off trying .
I have just moved over to essex (great dunmow)and love the idea of starting endurance riding, the idea of riding for miles must be an incredible bonding experience, is there anybody in the area on here that could give me some pointers?
also whilst Im at it I m looking to buy a shelter with stable attached, any ideas would be super.
thank you all, this forum has given me so much information so far!
kind regards
Rachael & Cal Karshah

Hi Rachel
Welcome to the most wonderful family......called Arabian Lines - or AL!!!
I've got a couple of brill shelters - not wood & horseproof!! & you can have them designed to your requirements - & they are mobile!! Will find the contact info for you!
Have a look on the endurance forum - lots of excellent advice & do please ask questions on there & we will try to answer/help you!! I've played at the sport for many years!!!

Welcome to AL from a realative newby too!! I'm sure you will find lots of help advice on here. As for your stable have a look in the back of Horse and Hound always companies advertising in there. Get loads of quotes and compare them. Good luck and congratulations on your first Arab, not turning back now |

Hi Rachel we are just a couple of miles from you in Gt Canfield, we have rides running a couple of times a year from home. If you want to come across and have a look and see whats happening ( we are at Ashfields). |

Hi welcome to arabian lines and to the endurance world. I don't know any endurance riders in your area but I think your local group is Iceni. Are you in a good area for training? I know where you are well as the two young riders I train lived in your area until recently (were at Thaxted and 18 months ago owned the Bell in Great Dunmow and would of helped you if they were still there) Good luck Kirsty |

Hi Rachael, i'm afraid that i don't really know of anyone riding wise i could recommend unless you want to jump, there is however a dressage yard in barnston (other side of A120) roundabout run by a lady called maxine. We have got a big polocrosse weekend kicking off on saturday if you'd like to come up spectators are more than welcome and it will be well signposted off the ongar road. |
