With regard to mega sales and mega prices, I've seen many arabians that have comanded high prices that do nothing for me.On the other hand i've seen mares and stallions that give me goosebumps and can only command a relative pittance.I put the difference down to fashion.
Maybe I don't have the eye to pick a good horse but I think the arabian winning today is losing type, lacks in innate charisma and needs to hide behind sheets of makeup and a forced fault-hiding pose, shown by professionals that are intimidating.
No amount of cash can buy a good eye, but it can deceive many that lack in sight.
This commentis not to be seen as as referring to anyonein particular as I know nothing of the horses or people at the Polish sale, but what I've observed over some30 yrs |
