Hi, Does anyone know anything about this stallion/stud? He is my colt Mistrals Blue Diamonds sire? I remember there was an article about Qamar on here but i dont know how to find it again. My colt was bred by Pam Cooper (Mistral Stud) and i was wondering what type she breeds. I know Qamar is straight egyptian but believe my colts dam has crabbet in her. I am just interested to know about his breeding and why the bloodlines where choosen.

Qamar is standing at stud at Judal's arabians, as is his half brother Amir el Sahra (they are both out of Raqqisa who sadly died this year). I don't think Judals come on-line, but they advertise in the AHS magazines and are at most shows. I am not sure that Pam has got any horses at home at the moment, but I could be wrong.

Pam Cooper lives near Conway in North Wales and her first Arabian was a race horse and I am not sure if this is the sire of your horse. Pam has her own website www.mistralstud.co.uk

there is a colt up for sale and he is by Qamar El Dine, it also has the details of Pam on there, as well as her email address, maybe email her and she could tell you all about him, hope this helps [;D]

Hi,
I work at Judals...Qamar is a lovely horse, as are his foals, there are 3 for sale by him on here right now, 2 colts and a filly.
He is a super ride, and a lovely character.
I had hoped to send my mare to him, but have decided not to cover her this time as already expecting 3 foals in 2008!
Maybe next year though! |

Oh wow so you know him well I saw some photos of him at HoCoN and he just gets more beautiful! Will he be doing any ridden showing? Also is there a website for Judals Arabians?
