Hi all
I have just received a copy of the Winter 1994 AHS News magazine that I won on e-bay and as fate would have it, it contained an obituary from Pauline Hutchins in honour of Krysia.
It says
KRYSIA ARABIAN (RUSHTI/KARRAMBA) 1964 - 1994
Obituary from AHS News magazine Winter 1994
“the sad death of our much loved foundation mare Krysia was a great personal loss. She was the most incredible brook mare, and with our very own Donax, produced a consistent string of major show prizewinners year after year. These included two British National Champions and two Reserve British National Champions. This cross proved to be extremely prolific and although Krysia is gong, she will never be forgotten. She left us a final and most precious gift, her last daughter Zircon Karisma, whose photo appears on the opposite page. A fine tribute to a very ”special” mare
Thought some of you might be interested. I didnt realise she was the Zircon studs foundation mare. How lovely that she reached the grand old age of 30. Does anyone know how old Donax was when he passed away?
Best wishes Debbie
