I am trying to post some pictures.I followed what has been said already gone on to FLCKR web. But it would not let me download. Do I need to download from my picture file rather than from where I download my pics to straight from the camera. Does this make sense I am very confused Thanks in advance.

Yes you need to have the photos on you computer to "upload" them to flikr.
